Досліджено специфіку становлення та розвитку хат-читалень і сельбудів нацменшин в Україні у 1920–1930-х рр., основні чинники, умови й етапи їхнього розвинення. Охарактеризовано головні напрями та особливості культурнопросвітницької та бібліотечної діяльності хат-читалень та сельбудів як центрів культурно-освітнього життя в сільських національних осередках на території України в перші два десятиліття радянської влади. Проаналізовано динаміку їхнього розвію та своєрідність функціонування в умовах посилення ідеологізації та централізації радянської влади. Висвітлено місце та значення культурно-просвітницької діяльності хат-читалень та сельбудів нацменшин у поширенні просвітництва, читання, духовної культури, а також у забезпеченні бібліотечною книгою сільського населення національних районів та етнічних осередків на території України у 1920–1930-х рр.Посилання
